Planning is the important step in designing a stormwater drainage system.  This stage is initiated by a call from a client who wants a stormwater drainage system designed for their site. Your system design must be compliant with AS/NZS 3500.3 and your state or territory regulatory requirements.

Before you commence the design it's important that you:

  • get the job specifications
  • calculate rainfall intensity
  • visit the site
  • are aware of OHS and environmental requirements.
