Plan and organise

After you have reserched it is important to carefully plan and organise your information.

Use the following steps to develop a clear plan for your talk:

  • Brainstorm the topic to clarify what you know
  • Organise the material logically, eg. chronologically, spatially (diagrams and maps), sequentially (first, second)
  • Develop a plan or structure.

Here is an example of one way that you could plan your presentation using a mindmapping process:
