The ancillary programs

Task 2 asks the student to design a ferry terminal. As part of this, the student is required to design responses which engage with the site and the river in a direct way. Brad's terminal included activities that directly linked the historical, the practical and aesthetic aspects of the site together.

His ancillary programs were:

  • a museum gallery containing historical information from the docks and the evolution of the machine age
  • a paper / bookshop.
